Revolutionising Cement for a Greener Tomorrow

Suvo is transforming industrial waste and low carbon resources into world-first, green cement solutions.

Our Mission

Committed to Sustainable Innovation.

The cement industry is close to a trillion-dollar market, making cement second only to water as the most consumed resource on the planet.

Knowing that Portland cement is responsible for 8% of global CO₂ emissions, Suvo is pioneering alternatives that will reduce the carbon footprint of modern construction.

This first-mover opportunity is being fast-tracked within the global market thanks to Suvo’s partnerships with industry leaders.

With a collaborative focus on research, sustainable sourcing, and innovative production, Suvo is reimagining the world’s most used construction material for a more sustainable future.

Green Cement Solutions

Suvo has developed two core green cement solutions: the company’s flagship Climate Tech Cement and a hybrid cement product, each targeting a different stage of the industry’s transition toward a lower-carbon future.

Climate Tech Cement

The low-carbon alternative

Climate Tech Cement eliminates the need for Portland cement, using industrial by-products like nickel slag and fly ash.

This approach not only repurposes waste materials that would otherwise be discarded, but also significantly reduces the carbon footprint of cement production.

Recent lab tests show impressive compressive strength, making it suitable for up to 80% of precast concrete applications worldwide.

Hybrid Cement

A transition to sustainability

As the industry shifts, Suvo’s hybrid cement offers a sustainable “bridge” solution, combining Portland cement with calcined clays to reduce the use of traditional cement by up to 70%.

This innovative hybrid allows companies to lower their carbon footprint without completely changing their processes, making the transition to Climate Tech Cement smoother and more feasible.

Harnessing our Kaolin for greener cement

As Australia’s only wet kaolin processing facility, Suvo’s Pittong Kaolin mine in Victoria is uniquely positioned to provide calcined kaolin as a substitute in Climate Tech Cement production.

This clay-based material reduces the need for carbon-intensive components, further lowering the emissions of concrete products.

With an 18-million-tonne resource, Pittong supports Suvo’s green cement solutions as well as other specialist industries, including ceramics, paints, and cosmetics, with clients like Dulux and Nippon Paint.

Building solutions through strategic partnerships

Key partnerships are at the core of Suvo’s strategy to accelerate the adoption of Climate Tech Cement. From sourcing materials to trialing products, Suvo is aligning with industry leaders who share our commitment to sustainable innovation.

Permacast, Australia

One of Australia’s largest precast concrete companies, Permacast marks an important step towards the large-scale distribution of Climate Tech Cement.

With support from established players like Permacast, Suvo is able to fast-track real-world applications and industry acceptance.

PT Huadi, Indonesia

This partnership in the supply chain ensures a steady supply of nickel slag, a key ingredient in Climate Tech Cement.

The future is here

Suvo is already working closely with major players in mining and construction to perfect and commercialise our key products, aiming for our hybrid cement to reach the market within 12 months, followed by broader adoption of our Climate Tech Cement in the next 18 months.

The company is also working towards generating carbon credits by repurposing waste streams, adding an extra dimension to its environmental contributions.
